আমাদের সম্পর্কে
২৫ ডিসেম্বর, ২০২৪– রোদ ঝলমলে বুধবার। বামপন্থী মিডিয়াগুলোর চাপিয়ে দেওয়া জনবিরোধী কৃত্রিম ন্যারেটিভের বিপরীতে দেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষের ভাবাদর্শ ও বিশ্বাসের প্রতিফলন ঘটাতে যাত্রা শুরু করে একটি নতুন অনলাইন নিউজ পোর্টাল- দৈনিক সাবাস বাংলাদেশ। জনগণের মনের কথা মুখের ভাষায় যে ন্যারেটিভে প্রকাশিত হয়, মিডিয়ায় জায়গা না পেয়ে অবহেলায় গড়াগড়ি খায় সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে, সেগুলোকেই অতি যত্নে কুড়িয়ে নিয়ে মূলধারার মিডিয়ায় প্রদর্শন করার মানস থেকে সাবাস বাংলাদেশ এর জন্ম।
আমাদের অভীপ্সা সত্য ও বস্তুনিষ্ঠ খবর প্রকাশে আপোষহীন থাকা। কবি সুকান্ত ভট্টাচার্যের বিখ্যাত ‘দুর্মর’ কবিতা থেকে চয়িত আমাদের পোর্টালের নাম ‘সাবাস বাংলাদেশ’ ও শ্লোগান ‘মাথা নোয়াবার নয়’ তারই ইঙ্গিতবাহী।
বাংলাদেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষের ধর্মবিশ্বাস ইসলামের প্রতি গভীরভাবে শ্রদ্ধাশীল আমরা, সহনশীল অন্যান্য সকল ধর্মমতের প্রতিও। সাবাস বাংলাদেশ সাতচল্লিশ, বাহান্ন, একাত্তর ও চব্বিশে বিশ্বাসী থেকে বাংলাদেশকে বিশ্বের দরবারে মাথা উঁচু দেখতে চায়।
বয়সে নবীন হয়েও ইতোমধ্যে মিডিয়া জগতে উল্লেখযোগ্য অবদান রাখতে শুরু করেছে সাবাস বাংলাদেশ; যেমন: দেশে প্রথম ভুয়া খবর প্রতিরোধী নিউজের কিউআর কোডযুক্ত ‘স্মার্ট ফটোকার্ড’ এর প্রচলন করি আমরাই।
নীতির সাথে আপোষ না করার ফলে অতি অল্প সময়ের ব্যবধানে সাবাস বাংলাদেশ অর্জন করেছে পাঠকদের আস্থা ও ভালোবাসা। সারা দেশ থেকে অল্প কিছু প্রতিনিধির সহায়তায় সংবাদ সংগ্রহ করে প্রাথমিকভাবে যে যাত্রা শুরু হয়েছিল, দিনে দিনে বাড়ছে তার পরিসর ও প্রত্যাশা। অনলাইন পোর্টাল থেকে অচিরেই ছাপা হরফের দৈনিক হয়ে উঠতে চায় সাবাস বাংলাদেশ। হয়ে উঠতে চায় আপামর বঙ্গবাসীর কণ্ঠস্বর, দেশের প্রধানতম সংবাদমাধ্যম।

December 25, 2024 — A sunlit Wednesday. In defiance of the artificial, anti-people narratives imposed by left-leaning media, a new online news portal—The Daily Sabas Bangladesh—embarked on its journey to reflect the ideals and beliefs of the majority of the nation’s people.
Born from a conviction to give voice to the unheard, Sabas Bangladesh was established to elevate narratives that speak the language of the people’s hearts—stories often neglected by mainstream media and left to languish on social platforms. With utmost care, we collect these sidelined voices and bring them to the forefront of the media landscape.
Our aspiration is clear: to remain uncompromising in publishing truthful and objective news. The name Sabas Bangladesh and the slogan “Never to Bow the Head” are drawn from Sukanta Bhattacharya’s renowned poem Durmor, symbolizing our commitment and spirit.
Deeply respectful of Islam—the faith embraced by the majority of Bangladeshis—we are also tolerant of all other religious beliefs. Sabas Bangladesh upholds the spirit of ’47, ’52, ’71, and ’24, and envisions a Bangladesh standing tall on the world stage.
Though young in years, Sabas Bangladesh has already begun making a mark in the media world. Notably, we were the first in the country to introduce QR-code-enabled Smart Photocards to combat the spread of fake news.
Our principled stance has quickly earned the trust and affection of our readers. What began as a modest initiative with a handful of correspondents across the country is steadily expanding in scope and ambition. From an online portal, Sabas Bangladesh aspires to become a full-fledged print daily—an authentic voice of the people and the leading news media of Bangladesh.
